Microsoft 365 Business Basic
Business Basic gives each user a professional email address on your domain, 1 TB of OneDrive storage, SharePoint, Teams and the web and mobile versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It suits staff who work mainly in a browser or on a phone. It is also a cost-effective choice for frontline staff, field teams and volunteers.

Microsoft 365 Business Standard
Business Standard includes everything in Basic, plus the desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Each user can install the apps on several PCs or Macs, tablets and phones. In addition, it adds tools such as Bookings for appointments and webinar features. Most offices choose this plan.
Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Business Premium includes everything in Standard, plus advanced security and device management. For example, it adds Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID P1 for conditional access, Microsoft Defender for Business, Defender for Office 365 and Purview information protection. Therefore, we recommend Premium for any business that handles customer, financial or health data.
Business Plans With or Without Teams
Microsoft now sells Microsoft 365 suites both with and without Teams. Since April 2024, new customers worldwide can buy Business Basic (no Teams), Business Standard (no Teams) and Business Premium (no Teams), and add Microsoft Teams Enterprise separately if needed. Frequently Asked Questions
Can we mix Microsoft 365 plans?
Yes. Many organisations give Premium to managers and finance, and Basic or Standard to other staff, as long as the total for Business plans stays within 300 users.
What happens above 300 users?
Organisations with more than 300 users move to Microsoft 365 Enterprise plans. We can advise on the right Enterprise option.
What is the difference between plans with and without Teams?
The no-Teams versions include everything except Microsoft Teams. You can add Microsoft Teams Enterprise separately or use another meeting tool.
Do you migrate our old email?
Yes. We migrate mailboxes from Gmail, cPanel hosting, Exchange and other providers.
